While many celebrities took to social media to honor their fathers on June 15 for Father’s Day, Chinese screen icon Fan Bingbing stood out with a rare and touching glimpse into her personal life.
The 43-year-old actress shared two heartfelt photos on Weibo, delighting fans with a moment of family intimacy. One image showed her smiling beside her parents, and the other captured her father joyfully blowing out a candle on his birthday cake.
In her caption, Fan wrote:
“Happy Father's Day! Wishing all the dads out there a joyful celebration! To the best dad and my greatest source of strength!”
But what truly set social media abuzz was the appearance of her father, Fan Tao, who looks remarkably youthful for his age—a vibrant 74 years old.
Fans were quick to flood the comment section with praise and disbelief. Some even confused him for Fan's 25-year-old younger brother, Fan Chengcheng, a popular actor and singer in his own right.
