Young Woman Used Radiator to Curl Her Hair
Don’t Panic!!!
This is how the story goes.
One night, as the beautiful Emily got ready for her night out, she realized she had lost her curlers. I am going to assume she was running late at this point so she had to get innovative :)
Personally I think it’s a bright idea and I wonder why I didn’t think about it first. Emily used a pipe in her radiator to curl her hair in 20 minutes as against the 40 minutes she’d have spent using her curler.
Emily is 22-years old mother based in Morecambe, Lancashire and the beautiful part of this story is that her daughter gave her the idea to use the hot radiator pipe
Let’s discuss the Pros and Cons of this hack
Pros
1. It’s quicker
2. Saves on electricity and
3. She didn’t burn herself as she usually did with her curler
4. She say radiator didn’t smoke like her tongs did
5. According to Emily, the curls lasted all night long and into the next day.
Cons
1. By the end of this fun activity, she ended up with a sore neck.
What do you think about this hack? Is it a definite must try for all women who have radiators and can’t find their curlers?

Flower girl and ring bearer get married 17 years later in the very same church
Adrian Franklin wasn’t always so in love with his wife.
As a five-year-old ring bearer, Adrian was ‘devastated’ when he was told he’d have to walk down the aisle with flower girl Brooke Gibson.
Adrian told WBTV: ‘She had a crush on me but she got on my nerves.’
But Brooke knew that it was true love and didn’t give up.
Instead, she kept chasing him around the playground until he saw sense.
Brooke said: ‘He really started to come around in middle school.’
After reconnecting at church as teenagers, Adrian finally asked Brooke out.
And he made up for lost time with a beautiful proposal in November 2014.
He asked his friends to ride by in a boat with a sign that said ‘Will you marry me Brooke.’
Adrian then got down on one knee and handed Brooke a question mark.
Having known he was the one at five years old, Brooke said yes immediately.
Now, 17 years on from their first trip down the aisle, the flower girl and ring bearer walked down the very same one as bride and groom.
This time Adrian was all smiles.

American man's hilarious take on British lifestyle goes viral
After spending his sabbatical leave in SOUTHWEST ENGLAND and IRELAND. this American came up with a massive list of observations on his Facebook page last month which has gone viral and has already been liked more than 78,000 times .
Scott writes: "I was in England again a few weeks ago, mostly in small towns, but here's some of what I learned:
Almost everyone is very polite
The food is generally outstanding
There are no guns
There are too many narrow stairs
Everything is just a little bit different
The pubs close too early
The reason they drive on the left is because all their cars are built backwards
Pubs are not bars, they are community living rooms.
You'd better like peas, potatoes and sausage
Refrigerators and washing machines are very small
Everything is generally older, smaller and shorter
People don't seem to be afraid of their neighbours or the government
Their paper money makes sense, the coins don't
Everyone has a washing machine but driers are rare
Hot and cold water faucets. Remember them?
Pants are called "trousers", underwear are "pants" and sweaters are "jumpers
The bathroom light is a string hanging from the ceiling
"F*nny" is a naughty word, as is "sh*g"
All the signs are well designed with beautiful typography and written in full sentences with proper grammar.
There's no dress code
Doors close by themselves, but they don't always open
They eat with their forks upside down
The English are as crazy about their gardens as Americans are about cars
They don't seem to use facecloths or napkins or maybe they’re just neater then we are
The wall outlets all have switches, some don't do anything
There are hardly any cops or police cars
5,000 years ago, someone arranged a lot of rocks all over, but no one is sure why
When you do see police they seem to be in male and female pairs and often smiling
Black people are just people: they didn't quite do slavery here
Everything comes with chips, which are French fries. You put vinegar on them
Cookies are "biscuits" and potato chips are "crisps"
HP sauce is better then catsup
Obama is considered a hero, Bush is considered an idiot.
After fish and chips, curry is the most popular food
The water controls in showers need detailed instructions
They can boil anything
Folks don't always lock their bikes
It's not unusual to see people dressed different and speaking different languages
Your electronic devices will work fine with just a plug adapter
Nearly everyone is better educated then we are
If someone buys you a drink you must do the same
Look right, walk left. Again; look right, walk left. You're welcome.
Avoid British wine and French beer
It's not that hard to eat with the fork in your left hand with a little practice. If you don't, everyone knows you're an American
Many of the roads are the size of our sidewalks
There's no AC
Instead of turning the heat up, you put on a jumper
Gas is "petrol", it costs about $6 [£3.96] a gallon and is sold by the litre
If you speed on a motorway, you get a ticket. Period. Always
You don't have to tip, really!
Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Cornwall really are different countries
Only 14% of Americans have a passport, everyone in the UK does
You pay the price marked on products because the taxes (VAT) are built in
Walking is the national pastime
Their TV looks and sounds much better then ours
They took the street signs down during WWII, but haven't put them all back up yet
Everyone enjoys a good joke
Dogs are very well behaved and welcome everywhere
There are no window screens
You can get on a bus and end up in Paris
Everyone knows more about our history then we do
Radio is still a big deal. The BBC is quite good
The newspapers can be awful
Everything costs the same but our money is worth less so you have to add 50% to the price to figure what you're paying
Beer comes in large, completely filled, actual pint glasses and the closer the brewery the better the beer
Butter and eggs aren't refrigerated
The beer isn't warm, each style is served at the proper temperature
Cider (alcoholic) is quite good.
Excess cider consumption can be very painful.
The universal greeting is "Cheers" (pronounced "cheeahz" unless you are from Cornwall, then it's "chairz")
The money is easy to understand: 1-2-5-10-20-50 pence, then-£1-£2-£5-£10, etc bills. There are no quarters.
Their cash makes ours look like Monopoly money
Cars don't have bumper stickers
Many doorknobs, buildings and tools are older than America
By law, there are no crappy, old cars
When the sign says something was built in 456, they didn't lose the "1"
Cake is pudding, ice cream is pudding, anything served for desert is pudding, even pudding
BBC 4 is NPR
Everything closes by 1800 (6pm)
Very few people smoke, those who do often roll their own
You're defined by your accent
No one in Cornwall knows what the hell a Cornish Game Hen is
Soccer is a religion, religion is a sport
Europeans dress better then the British, we dress worse
The trains work: a three minute delay is regrettable
Drinks don't come with ice
There are far fewer fat English people
There are a lot of healthy old folks around participating in life instead of hiding at home watching TV
If you're over 60, you get free TV and bus and rail passes
They don't use Bose anything anywhere
Displaying your political or religious affiliation is considered very bad taste
Every pub has a pet drunk
Their healthcare works, but they still bitch about it
Cake is one of the major food groups
Their coffee is mediocre but their tea is wonderful
There are still no guns
Towel warmers!
He's gotten so into it, he's even responded to individual queries in some of the many comments.
Michelle Steuermann said: "So if there aren't any guns, how do they hunt?", to which Scott replied: "Dogs. There's probably about one gun for every thousand people.
"Hunters keep theirs locked up. No one carries a weapon in public. It's like living in a civilised country."
Brit Justine Fitzgerald commented: "Really enjoyed this, makes me proud to be British (including the switches that don't work!)."
Ian Rycroft added: "As an Englishman it's always interesting to see how we are viewed by others. Especially honorary Brits."

The Ice Bucket Challenge Is Still On!
The Ice Bucket Challenge is making its way to the elite club of former U.S. presidents.
George W. Bush is accepting the challenge from "several Americans," including daughter Jenna Bush Hagar, he says in his video, but he wants to focus on donating to ALS, not dousing himself with water.
"I do not think it's presidential for me to be splashed with ice water, so I'm simply going to write you a check," says the 43rd president.
That's when former first lady Laura Bush pops into view and splashes him anyway.
"That check is from me," Laura Bush says. "I don't want to ruin my hairstyle."
Bush challenges former president Bill Clinton to do the same. Clinton's birthday was Tuesday. "My gift to Bill is a bucket of cold water," Bush says.

The viral awareness campaign, started by Pat Quinn, of Yonkers, N.Y., has raised $15.6 million since July 29 for the ALS Association, which researches Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease. That's compared with $1.8 million raised in the same time period last year.
Valerie Estess, co-founder of Project A.L.S. writes in a letter to USA TODAY, "By accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge, the American people have launched the opening salvo in a war we can all agree on."
She continues: "This fight deserves the immediate attention and support of Congress, the president, and every citizen who cares about the health of our children and the future of our world. Unless we get together, aligned as one against brain disease, we will lose everything."
President Obama was challenged by Ethel Kennedy last week. Obama opted to donate, not douse.
The White House said in a statement to The Boston Globe: "The president appreciates Mrs. Kennedy thinking of him for the challenge — though his contribution to this effort will be monetary."
Now the bucket's in Clinton's court.

Viral photo shows baby grabbing doctor's finger while still in womb
A Classic Pin-Up Photography |
When Alicia Atkins of Glendale, Ariz., was undergoing a routine C-section in October, something extraordinary happened. Atkins's baby girl – still inside her mother’s womb – reached up and grabbed her OBGYN’s finger. Realizing how special the moment was, Dr. Allen Sawyer, who has also delivered Atkins’s other two children, called to her husband Randy to grab the camera.
In a split second, he was able to capture the special moment just in time.
“I think it’s an amazing, beautiful photo; it’s just a precious photo at this point,” Atkins told FoxNews.com
Atkins is actually a professional photographer herself and owns her own business called A Classic Pin-Up Photography. She shared the remarkable photo on her business’ Facebook page the day after Christmas, and it has since gone viral, having been shared more than 2,000 times. Atkins said she did not expect how popular the photo would become.
“It’s a little overwhelming, we never expected it to go viral – especially worldwide,” Atkins said. “We are so thrilled beyond words at how positive and grateful people are that we shared it.”
Atkins and her husband have named their new baby girl Neveah, which is ‘Heaven’ spelled backwards. On her Facebook page, Atkins describes all of her kids as “miracle children.”
Meanwhile, the irony that her husband used her camera to take the photo is not lost on her.
“It was a little weird that my husband took one of the most popular photos on the site,” Atkins said.

Internet Skepticism Toward Unaltered Photo Lands Unique Cat an Appearance on The Today Show
Venus the cat has a face that appears to have two completely separate halves. The left side of her face is black with a green eye. The right side of her face is orange tabby with a blue eye. The line dividing the two halves is straight and right down the center of her face such that a profile shot of one side would look like a completely separate cat when compared to a profile shot of the other side!
Venus began life on a farm in North Carolina. After seeing a snapshot that included the farm cat and being struck by her odd features, Veuns's current owners Chris and Christina decided they had to open their Florida home to one more cat. She lived quietly as a loving and beloved pet until Christina posted a page for her on Facebook and a friend posted her picture on Reddit. Her photos quickly went viral, being shared by hundreds of thousands of social media users within a week. Once the photos became famous, people began to suspect that the perfect line dividing two faces on the same cat could not be real and must have been fabricated or enhanced on Photoshop or her fur dyed.
However, video and older photos of the calico-tortoise shell mix shown on the Today show proves her unusual coloring to be natural. It is suspected that the odd physical feature may be the genetic result of two separately fertilized eggs that merged during very early development to form a single organism from two zygotes, or very young embryos. However, DNA testing has not been performed to confirm this suspicion.
After her fifteen minutes of fame, Venus hopes to return home to Florida. However, it is also rumored that the suddenly-famous kitty now has an agent who will help connect Venus with animal rights non-profits who can use her fame and cuteness to further the cause of animal rights.
