After burying the puppy, the dog quietly walks away. Pet videos often go viral, but this one is particularly gut-wrenching.

The burial is thought to have taken place in Iraq. It was likely taken on a mobile phone. The Daily Mail first broke the story.

It is not known whether the dog and puppy were related-but regardless, it's an act of respect and compassion.

Instead of using their flight to London and spare days before the Games simply to rest and prepare, America's swimmers have decided to have a bit of a laugh, too. During the past days, this team of young athletes recorded their own pop version of Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe'. The recordings for their video were done on the flight, at the atheletes' village, and even underwater.
